A trial is the opportunity for you to see the artists/stylists work before your wedding / event day. We will offer you a brief consultation at the beginning of your trial to discuss colours, looks and your preferences, before creating the most suitable wedding look for you. For this reason it is a good idea to devote some time to having a think about what you would like to try. We suggest you bring any theming or inspiration with you such as gathering pictures from magazines, a picture of your wedding dress, colour theming, invitation, lace, fabric, shoes, headpiece, jewellery or your own makeup bag and colours. It doesn’t matter if you are unsure as to exactly what you want, just a small amount of direction is enough to help steer your artist in the right direction.

You are more than welcome to bring other people with you for the trial. If the opinion of your best friend / sister / mother is important please have them with you at the trial. It is too late to change the makeup or try a different look once you get home.

We are happy to do a weekend trial. Availability is dependent on our other bookings, afternoons are usually the best time.
Trials usually take 1 – 1.5 hours.Trials are either done at your location**, salon or artist’s location. This is something that can be discussed.

Trials can be done up to a year before your wedding / event. We do not take bookings anymore than a year in advance.
